This is us

Upshift is the leading online staffing platform disrupting the massive traditional temp staffing industry which generates over $500 billion in annual revenues. Dominated by thousands of small agencies and a few large, antiquated ones, we offer a digital marketplace that reduces the friction for workers looking for work and businesses looking for workers.

We believe hourly workers deserve better pay, a more flexible approach to choosing shifts and direct contact with employers. We are at the forefront of a large industry transitioning from mostly offline to online with the backing of Recruit Holdings, Ltd (parent company of Indeed.com and Glassdoor.com).

Upshift was founded by three Yugoslav-Americans and our HQ1 is in Cincinnati with HQ2 in Skopje. Almost 50% of our internal employees are located in Skopje though all of our clients and Upshifters are in the United States. You may choose to work in the office in Skopje or work remotely.
